Most Popular Visual Presentation Award

What should be included in the one-minute video presentation?

The video format is the most direct and impactful means of presenting information. Deliver it well, and it will pay dividends in ways no other media can match. You are looking to seriously impress here. Go ahead, unleash the director in you!

Each video will be subject to an open and public online vote as well as assessment by the judging panel. The objective is to simply convince the general public that your business proposal is the best. The video with the most votes wins*. Videos should either be in MPEG, AVI or MOV format of under 30MB in size.

Submitted entries should be the original work of entrants. Entrants found to be guilty of plagiarism will be disqualified from the "most popular visual award" competition.

Credit must be given to owners of materials, whether photographs, videos or film clips, whose work appears in part or in whole in the entrant submission. Any unauthorised use of third party material may result in disqualification.

In the event of the disqualification of a winning entrant for any reason, the Organiser may decide at its sole discretion to select another winner based on the same judging criteria.

The Organiser's decision on all matters relating to the competition including disputes and results will be final and no correspondences or discussions shall be entered into.

The Organiser reserves all rights to matters relating to the competition including competition rules, disputes and disqualification.

* Winning the Best Visual Presentation stage is not a guarantee of progression into the final round.

How are entries evaluated?

The judging panel is composed of the elite members of venture capitalists, successful entrepreneurs and industry professionals. They will place submitted proposals and their teams under close scrutiny. Are proposals viable? What returns will investors get? How convincingly is the idea presented?

Proposals that are likely to stand a chance will be those that have a foundation in creativity and innovation, a solid business proposition, sound strategy, reasonable financial analysis and a plausible execution plan. Demonstrate the merits of your proposal and see yourself progress to the finals.
